Well, I don’t know how this got by me for so long, but former synthesizer-based pop star Howard Jones–one of my musical idols–is bringing his acoustic duo tour to Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in Elmer, N.J., this Saturday night at 8 p.m.
While HoJo has left the technology behind, his role in bringing synth-based music into the world of mainstream pop music–to me–justifies his presence on this site.
If you are interested in seeing this fantastic songwriter and musician perform and you are in the South Jersey (often referred to as “SoJo”…hence, the headline of this post), here is some information from the Appel Farm Web site…
